With clean hands, rotate the stud back and forth at least once a day.

Only clean your new piercing as advised by your piercer and no other way unless advised to by a medical professional.

To avoid your piercing area from closing make sure you do not take your studs out for the period advised by your piercer.
-
Once your piercing area is fully healed and as advised by your piercer, the stud can be removed from the pierced area and another post type earring should be worn, this should be 24CT plated or stainless steel and this type should be worn for at least another 2 months following the healing period.
-
No wire type earrings should be worn during this period.
-
The wearing of heavy earrings at any time may cause the pierced hole to stretch leaving a slit effect to the piercings.
-
During the first year of piercing the client should avoid going longer than 24 hours without wearing earrings, this will ensure the piercing area will not close.
